One of the things it took me ages to get the courage to do was to go to the hairdressers, I used to have my hair cut by a girl at work, or I would just shave it myself.
Here are a few of the more important phrases you need when visiting the hairdressers.
Hello my name is Jaimie Wright.I have an appointment at 3 o’clock today.
Is this your first time here?
Yes, this is my first time here.
I see, and what would you like done today?
Just a trim please.
Just an inch or so off the top please.
Can you shave it up the back please.
I’d like my hair permed.
I’d like my hair straightened.
I’d like highlights please.
I’d like my hair coloured please.
I’d like it shaved, about 10 millimetres is fine.
There you go, hope that comes in handy one day.
