Have you ever made a reservation for a restaurant in English?
If not, luckily you have the chance to practice the language necessary at our lessons this weekend. Here is some of the expressions you’d need:

  • Hello, Kensington Restaurant, how may I help you?　
  • I’d like to make a reservation, please.　
  • Can I please make a reservation for 3 people on Saturday at 7:00?　I’m afraid, we are fully booked on Saturday.　
  • How about July 2nd?　
  • I’m very sorry but the restaurant is closed on July 2nd.　
  • Can I have your name and phone number please?　
  • Sure, my name is Steve Buscemi and my number is 09023457826.　
  • Could you repeat that please?　
  • Would you spell that, please?　
  • So a booking for 5 people on Saturday, June 14th at 8:00.　
  • That’s right, thanks!
