“Easy come, easy go” is an informal expression we use when something is easily gained but also easily lost. It’s very often used after you have spent or lost money.
Usage with Money
In the two following examples, we spent a lot of money on something, maybe more than we had wanted. Instead of complaining about it, we employ a carefree attitude about it, thinking that that’s how life is. Money comes and goes easily.
