大学入学共通テストのための学生の準備 - リーディング＆リスニング

昨年、大学入学共通テストは以前よりもリスニングに重点を置くように変更されました。リーディングテストは200ポイント、リスニングテストは50ポイントしかありませんでしたが、2021年以降、どちらも100ポイントで均等に配点されています。これらだけが変更点ではありません。リスニングテストは、読み上げが1回のみになる問題もあります。（以前は読み上げは2回でした）話者数が増える可能性もあり、異なるアクセントも使用され（以前のアメリカ英語だけでなく）、そしてより速く話すため、リスニングテストは以前よりも難しくなりました。

全体として、大学入学共通テストの英語は、以前よりもかなり困難でやりがいのあるものになっています。今年から高校生用の試験準備に対応し始めました。特に日本の高校生にとってより難しいリスニングパートのために。

私たちのコースには、間違いに焦点を当て、そのような間違いを避けるために必要な文法と語彙を教え、クラスの始めに会話でその文法と語彙を定期的に確認する、多くのテストが含まれています。生徒のモチベーションを高く保つために、クラスをできるだけ面白くするようにしています。

Hello everyone,
Recently the university national admissions exam has changed to give much more emphasis on listening than before. The reading test used to be scored 200 points and the listening test only 50 points but since 2021 they are both scored equally at 100 points each. These are not the only changes, the listening test has also become harder as some parts are read aloud only once (instead of 2 times before) and there are sometimes more speakers, they use different accents (not only American English as before) and they speak faster. 

All in all the University National admissions English exam has become quite more challenging than it used to be. Since this year we have started preparing High School students for the exam, especially for the listening part which is more challenging for Japanese high school students. 

Our course includes a lot of test taking, focusing on mistakes made, teaching the grammar and vocabulary necessary to avoid such mistakes and then periodically reviewing that grammar and vocabulary in conversation in the beginning of the class. We try to make the class as interesting for our students as possible to keep their motivation high!

The test is in one year and the sooner you start preparing for it the better.
