/Good morning, since our topic for this weekend is Animals and Pets, I’d like to introduce an animal idiom we use quite often. It’s the “elephant in the room” and it means a big issue everyone is aware of, but which is being ignored, because everybody finds discussion about it uncomfortable.
ex. Everybody pretended to have a good time even though there was still this massive elephant in the room.
