/Good morning everyone, I hope everyone is ready for a fantastic new week. Today we are going to introduce a very useful expression that I think most of you don’t know. In the early 18th century official documents used to be bound with red tape so now we use this expression to talk about excessive bureaucracy.

excessive bureaucracy or adherence to official rules and formalities.
行き過ぎた官僚主義、または正式な規則や形式的な手続きへの固執
