/Hello everyone, today’s wonderful business expression is “ get something off the ground”
To get something off the ground means to start a project/ business and see it start to be successful ( imagine a plane taking off)
For example.
It took us a while to get the Ropponmatsu school off the ground but it’s getting busier now.
Work on the new building couldn’t get off the ground until planning permission had been given.
